Project overview
We are improving the Timber Pedestrian Bridge, in Victoria Park. Our works include removing existing defective timber members and replacing them with new timber members which will be hand painted to enhance the look of the bridge and help in protection of the timber for a longer period.
Pedestrian access is changing while we carry out the works. All pedestrian access will be via the alternate route (see map below).
We will work to minimise community impacts during this time, however there will be minor machinery noise during the works.
The safety of everyone is our priority. Thank you for your patience while we complete these important works.
